The House of Lords EU External Affairs Sub-Committee (chaired by Lord Tugendhat) has been hearing evidence over the last few months (since June 2014) on the relationship between the European Union and Russia, including EU sanctions policy.  It is due to report early in 2015.  The call for evidence is here and details of the inquiry and evidence heard so far are here.

This Monday (15th December 2014), the Minister for Europe in the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the Rt Hon David Lidington MP, will give evidence to the Committee, including on how successful the EU sanctions policy has been towards Russia, and what Russia needs to do in order for the sanctions to be eased.  His evidence can be watched live here.
