EU consolidates Libya sanctions

The EU has consolidated its Libya sanctions measures into a single regulation, for the sake of clarity following several changes to the regime in 2015 and having consolidated the corresponding decision in July. The consolidated measures are Council Regulation (EU) 2016/44 repealing Council Regulation (EU) 204/2011 and Council Decision (CFSP) 2015/1333 repealing Council Decision 2011/137/CFSP.

The new UK implementing Regulation is here.
