UN & EU de-list German national from AQ sanctions

Earlier this month, the UN de-listed German national Daniel Martin Schneider from its ISIL & AL-Qaida sanctions, and the EU has now implemented that decision.  Mr Schneider was originally listed by the UN in 2008 for his role in planning terrorist attacks in Germany, having amassed 12 drums of hydrogen peroxide and 26 military detonators with his co-conspirators.  He was imprisoned in 2010.

See Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/1113, and the UK’s notice here.
