The EU External Affairs Sub-Committee of the House of Lords is holding evidence sessions on post-Brexit sanctions policy and defence / security cooperation with the EU. The inquiry will ask (inter alia) what advantages and disadvantages there would be to the UK cooperating with the EU on sanctions after Brexit. See previous blog on the inquiry here.
The Sub-Committee is taking evidence on 6 July from Baroness Ashton, former High Representative of the EU, former Foreign Secretary Lord Hague, former Secretary General of NATO Lord Robertson, and Council of State for Spain Ana Palacio.
